One of the extra things we do at our ranch is work with the disabled population. We invite them to visit and have an area in our barn to accommodate wheelchairs. We try to make it a very hands on experience for the visitors and often give away items to those in need. We also provide free backpacks to children in crisis situations. The backpacks are filled with personal need items and comfort items, too. Our sales
help us to be able to do this. We feel so blessed and desire to pass that on. This past week we had a request for 2 backpacks for a 5 & 8 year old. The 8 year old boy is severely disabled and the parents are barely making it. We sent backpacks full of items for them, but we also able to refer the boy to Shriner's Hospital, where he can get health services at no charge.

Having 4 children with various disabilities makes it natural for us to reach out and help others. We've been through it all and
are so thankful. (Our 16 year old daughter had surgery in January-cut both femurs and turned them 40 degrees each and has given her hope that she may someday run!) We are finding the survival socks are just that for many that purchase them. One lady wears 2 pair at a time, as she's never been able to keep her feet warm and finally can. Another lady bought them for her hubby who is on his feet all day and has complained of the pain for years. Not any more!!! I'm just so thankful to be able to share such a superior product. Thank you so much.
