NEAFP Introducing 3 New Products

In January's NEAFP Note, we discussed how we wanted to take a clean slate approach to our product catalog, taking the information gained over the last 10 years of manufacturing Alpaca in the U.S., and use these experiences to re-invent some of our older products, as well as add new items that matched this new level of quality.

This month we are happy to announce the next additions to our product catalog, a newly designed Afghan Blanket, a Baby Blanket, and a Dress Scarf. Our main goal throughout this year was to raise the bar across the board of our product catalog, and we are really excited how beautiful these new products came out.

Over the last year we have been busy designing new yarns for specific applications, ensuring that every step along the process (from skirting to weaving) is focused on the outcome of the finished product . The Survival Sock is a great example of this new mindset, and we are happy to add 3 new products made following this same process.

Afghan Blanket

The New Afghan is made out of 100% Prime Alpaca and measures 60" long by 46" wide. It is by far one of the softest products in our catalog. We also used a new weaving pattern for this latest Afghan, giving the yarn a lot more surface area, making the overall product much softer to the touch. We couldn't be happier with the finished result and we are sure you will be just as impressed. Available Colors: Oatmeal, Light Fawn, Light Brown.

Baby Blanket

The Baby Blanket is our new Afghans little brother, in the sense that it is made out of the same yarn and has many of the same attributes, with a slightly different weaving pattern and border. It is also made out of 100% Prime Blanket Alpaca and measures 48" long by 42" wide. Our previous baby blanket was one of our best sellers and we are happy to bring this item back to our product catalog. Available Colors: Oatmeal.

Dress Scarf

When we first sat down and designed our current scarves, we really focused on the utility of the finished product, ensuring that it was as warm as possible and could withstand very harsh weather conditions. We are happy with both the Ribbed Knit and Jersey Knit scarves, but we felt it was time to add a classier, softer scarf to our catalog. This New Dress Scarf is all those things and more. We applied a new, more open knit that really allows the yarn to breathe, making this scarf a great accessory to any night out on the town in the Fall, Winter or early Spring. It is made out of 100% Prime Alpaca, and measures 63" long by 8" wide. Available Colors: Oatmeal, Rose-Grey.

The Afghan, Baby Blanket, and Dress Scarf will be available for pre-sale online by the end of next week, and will begin shipping out of our mill Mid-August.
